Cleaning of USsenal's NEW Homeground

22nd October 2011, 12pm, we went to our NEW Homeground for USsenal; for our latest 'SEASON KICK-OFF'. hehe

The first step into the house was filled with excitement and thrill. The sense of belonging for this NEW Homeground; starts with the first step. (''.)

Bringing along Director & Madam; as they have their little 'rituals' for our 'KICK-OFF'. hahaha Madam used salt & rice; sprinkling at all corners of the house and after that, we started our washing process. I am kinda blessed to have them around as all little details of washing the house(from detergents to sponges, mops to brooms & even dustpans) are being taken care of. The cleaning process was kinda smooth as from sweeping to mopping the floor and till finally, TJ decided to have a BIG SPLASH party. haha He felt that mopping wasn't enough and hence the splashing started. Apart from the little frown when I asked him to be extra careful, so as not to let the water flow towards all the cabinets. He actually had this beamful SMILE on his face. I m sure that he was very happy being a 'BANGALA' for our NEW Homeground. hahaha While he was doing all the 'MANUAL' stuffs, I m more of a documentary person. Taking pictures is definitely my forte. haha

WHERE M I??? I am the person behind all these 'Special Moments Captured' hehe I m more into details hence, I like to take pictures of even the slightest details in my new house(so as to see if I need to change anything).

Have a PEEK inside my personal 'USsenal Walk in Closet'. This is definitely my favourite part of our NEW Homeground. I am not a person who like to show my wardrobe to visitors; hence this closet definitely fits me BEST! It is built behind one side of the wall and hidden. I liked open concept wardrobe as this will makes me an even tidier person, hence, I prefer doorless wardrobes. hehe Habits are meant to be cultivated thou. Don't u agree? hehe

From the first day when we have decided to let my in-laws stay with us, we have discussed and decided to let them have our Master bedroom at our new home. We both believed that old folks definitely need the Master bedroom's bathroom more than any of us.Thou with a smaller common bedroom, we are still able to play around with the space. Just kinda sad that, our private 'PC BUNK' will have to fit into the other common bedroom.There goes the luxury of watching TV while gaming. hehe (''.)

Ain't u impressed with my little walk in closet? Thou small but it is definitely more than enough for my own usage. hehe JUST FOR ME! Woohoo! :p

I had also taken some other pictures of little details at our new house. Wondering if I should change some of them. Still pondering... ...

I think the sockets and doorbell looked just fine to me thou. (''.) Perhaps, a little chandelier crystal light will do the trick. Hmmmm, time for light sourcing then. haha I love SHOPPING! ^^

After finishing washing the house, we went to Westmall for ice-cream, just mins walk away from our house. hehe After a long tough day, it's time to have something 'SWEET" to reward ourselves. YUMMYLICIOUS! haha

FINALLY, we went to Aussino to get some doormats. After discussing and looking around for a real long time, we finally decided to settle for BROWN colour; so as to match our furnitures & wall colour. Was so happy as spotted a cute & adorable GIRAFFE mat(tucked away in one corner of Aussino) and decided to grab two of them for our bathrooms. Who says that doormats must be plain n solemn-looking. hehe I beg to differ from that mentality thou. (''.) Don;t u think that after a shower(after a long day of work), as u stepped on this lovely cute GIRAFFE mat, it gonna makes u feel so much more relaxed. *wink* haha

Wanted to go to IKEA to get some cutlery sets and utensils but we were both so shagged. Decided to take a rain check on that and shall go on Wednesday instead. hehe *LAZY BUMS huh*

Shall update again after getting more 'VICTORIOUS' shots of USsenal's NEW Homeground development. Meanwhilem timeto go back Mum's place for my beloved Daddy's birthday.

USsenal Homeground's 'INSPECTION"

Today, 18th of October 2011(Tuesday), USsenal's Homeground is 'OPEN' for 'Inspection'. hehe The feeling of thrill & excitement totally covers our whole body.

THANK YOU GOD for leading us to this lovely house. Initially, apart from the high COV, we are still pondering on what are the other miscellenous items that we might have to fork out for our next NEW house...We often hear about friends/relatives telling us how much they have to cough out for their house renovation... so & so... the word 'RENOVATION' really send a chill down our spine. From issues like Painting,Installing of socket points, SCV power point/Cable points, Changing of toilet bowls, Room closets & many others more... However, we are so thankful that our NEW Homeground really doesn't requires much renovation. Everything are almost nicely done. After a thorough 'INSPECTION', not only do we not need to fix/change even a SCV socket/Cable point, we REALLY don't even have to change anything. hahaha Everything in the house are almost BRAND-NEW.(EXCEPT for the Aircon) hehe

Took some pixs & we are really looking forward to the day... this house's ownership is really transferred to US... Ultimately, The new USsenal's Homeground in Bukit Batok. *WooHoooOooOo*

A BIG THANK YOU to the seller for renovating the house(prior to selling) and they are even giving us a LONG shelf for the storeroom(for organising stuffs)as well as a 7kg Washing machine.

We hereby entrust our everything to God and do let Him lead us thruout the fruitful event; whereby this God's House of grace will be really OURS. Do also ensure all issues as relating to this house to be carried out smoothly & inaccordance to God's will. Kindly do also bless us with abundance of GRACE & GUIDANCE; with God as our beacon.Amen!

USsenal's New Homeground 1st Appointment @ HDB Hub TPY

8th of October, which is TODAY, is finally the long awaited day of going to HDB Hub to sign the papers for our USsenal's new homeground.

Despite feeling sick and wobbly, I still mananged to pull myself out of my bed and at around 8.10am, we are both ready to set off to HDB. The appointment time was at 9am.

We reached the HDB Hub, Toa Payoh at around 8.35am. We even managed to go to Macdonald for a sumptuous & delicious breakfast before we meet the sellers at Level 2 of HDB Hub. The excitement flowing in both of us is simply indescribable.

When our number showed on the screen, prompting us to proceed to the HDB officer's office, my heart almost skipped a beat. The whole thing of this house becoming ours really seemed like a dream to us. However, after signing the papers, we both knew that this is definitely OURS... The house tt belonged to the BOTH of US... Our new USsenal's Homeground. Thou the previous house at Stirling belongs to us too, but missing the procedures of been able to view and choose our own place, makes the whole event seemed incomplete.

The whole process of signing the papers only took less than 15mins. The sellers seemed like a real nice pair of couple; in their 50s and definitely have a very pleasant deposition. We are thankful that they took such great care of their house, which actually benefited us indirectly.

After settling the papers, Kalvin brought us to Vision LLC to settle our relevant legal fees' issues. Vision LLC was just a stone throw away from HUB Hub. Hence, despite me, being sick, my wobbly legs definitely had no problem walking over to the law firm. The visit to the law firm was like a breeze. Everything went on smoothly.

We proceeded to buy the floorplan for our new Homeground. even thou it was juzt a piece of paper. However, it represented the whole idea of being able to own and design a space of our own; which makes the whole process more FUN & MEANINGFUL. Holding the floorplan on my hands, I realised this is really MINE. Throughout the whole process, TJ was putting on a satisfied smile. I knew tt he is juzt as happy as I was.

We have both discussed and decided that the Master bedroom be given to my in-laws(TJ's parents) who will be staying with us. We both agreed tt old people definitely need the bathroom(unlike my old Stirling house, there is no bathroom in the Master Bedroom thou).

As for both of us, we will be taking Bedroom 2; where the walk-in closet is. I m so thrilled of the idea of having my own mini Walk-in closet. As for Bedroom 3, it should be our study room. With the floorplan on hand,the next step will be to decide and plan how are we going to place our furnitures.

Loads of issues seemed to be awaiting us ahead, but we are sure that God will leads us as accordance to His way. We hereby entrust all our issues and burdens to Him. May Him leads us thru everything; bestowing loads of Grace and Joy to this whole event. Amen!

2nd of December 2011 will be the day; The OFFICIAL 'Opening' of USsenal's NEW Homeground. Woohoo! (''.) Our 2nd & final appointment. Really cannot wait for tt day to come thou.
